Sanghyeon Choi (Advisor: Prof. Gunuk Wang) was selected as a recipient of the SoSun Nanum Foundation Scholarship for 2022.

The SoSun Nanum Foundation Scholarship has been held annually since 2018, with the goal of supporting students who have clear research goals and visions for future academic pursuits,  as well as possessing ethical, honest, and diligent characters. The scholarship aims to foster science and technology talent for the future of South Korea and is operated by Woori Tech Co., Ltd.  and Daegu Community Chest of Korea.

Sanghyeon Choi, a PhD candidate in Prof. Gunuk Wang’s research group at KU-KIST Graduate School of Convergence in Korea University,  was selected as a scholarship recipient in the science and technology field of the SoSun Nanum Foundation Scholarship for 2022, following his selection as a recipient last year.

○ To foster talent in the field of fundamental/future science and technology for the future of South Korea.

○ To support students with clear academic goals and future plans to nurture talent and contribute to the future of South Korea.

▶ Support details: Scholarship support of 20 million KRW for one year to independently conduct creative and challenging research related to own research topics.
