Gwan Jin Ko (advisor: Prof. Suk Won Hwang), won a BRONZE MEDAL in 29th Human Tech Paper Award.

Gwan Jin Ko (advisor: Prof. Suk Won Hwang) who is a PhD candidate of KU KIST Graduate School of Convergence in Korea University was selected as the bronze medal winner  in the field of ‘Bio Engineering & Life Science’ at the 29th Human Tech paper awards hosted by Samsung Electronics. The Human Tech Paper Award, which started in 1994 
and celebrated its 29th this year, is hosted by Samsung Electronics and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the JoongAng Ilbo. 
This paper is about a 'Suture-free cardiac jacket system for cardiac monitoring and stimulation based on biodegradable elastomer'.  This technology presents a new breakthrough in the existing transient soft electronics field. It is expected to play an important role in understanding and treating cardiovascular diseases 
such as myocardial infarction in the future and was selected as an award-winning paper in recognition of its creativity and innovation.
